Parameters: ro, quiet, splash, vt.handoff=7 In my case with channel 104 the network wasn't seen by the card, with channel 40 it works fine The card Broadcom Corporation BCM4360 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 03) doesn't see 5Ghz networks with an high channel number, if you change the channel back to a lower one the network will be found again.
